Welcome to February and hang on to your hats! We have a lot going on! Our students completed their benchmarks in Math and English this week and worked very hard! Please remember that we have to holidays, February 8 and 15, and school will be closed. Additionally, we will have parent conferences (by notification from teachers at this time unless otherwise requested) on Thursday, February 18th from 3:30-5:30 in the gym and a minimum day on Friday, February 19th. All students are dismissed at 12:25 PM (unless staying for lunch and then it's 12:55) and are more than welcome to stay to watch our Annual Academic Olympics in the cafeteria beginning at 1 PM!
Also, new student orientation for GREEN VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL incoming 6th graders will be help WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2ND FROM 6-7 in our gym!
Sacramento State, Admissions & Outreach is sponsoring a Parent & Student workshop, focused on Students Grade 6-9. It will take place on Sat.,April 2, 2016 from 8:00-1:00, Sacramento State/University Ballroom, 6000 J Street, Sacramento. The workshop is designed to communicate the importance of early academic and financial planning to assure students have choices after high school.
