As we now have a month being away from our GVMS building, we sincerely hope that you are safe, healthy, and found some stability in this new "normal".....
PARENTS/GUARDIANS, read this =)
I recently read THIS ARTICLE (for myself, trust me!) about things that I could or needed to remind myself about working from home and distance learning. I thought I would share:
*Remember to have fun, laugh and take breaks!
*Have and maintain a routine.
*Trust the teachers. Reach out to the teachers. Tell the teachers what is going on, especially if your student is stressed out.
*Take breaks and try to do it without your phone!
*This new "normal" involves the WHOLE family....
*Keep it low key- it's okay if we don't finish EVERYTHING all in one day. IT'S OKAY!
All email addresses for ALL GVMS staff and teachers are on the website at www.fsusd.org or CLICK HERE. We will do the VERY best that we can to help! There are a TON of online resources out there to help you as well, so please reach out to us if you don't have them and we will send them to you.
Do you need Chrome Book help? Please make sure that you go to one of the locations provided by the District to exchange your Chrome Book or purchase a replacement charger. Click HERE for those instructions again!
We got this Vikings! You've been doing AWESOME! Keep it up!
Stay safe, stay positive and stay HEALTHY!!

How is it going, Vikings?
Questions on assignments? Email your teacher directly. They will be checking email Monday - Friday during regular school hours: 8:36 AM - 2:50 PM as often as they can, keeping in mind that many of our teachers are now the homeschool teachers for their own small children. Their schedule may need to be flexible due to nap times and school times for their own children =). Any email that comes in after 2:50 PM will be answered on the next school day.
