California Standardized Tests in English and Math are COMPLETE!!  Our students ROCKED these tests and worked so hard!  We could not be more proud of them!

Once again, THANK YOU for making so many things possible on our campus! From donations for the Spring Fling, to donations of school supplies and tissues, to coming to the Gold Ribbon celebration, to donations for the Gold Ribbon celebration, to Teacher Appreciation Week goodies and treats....

WE TRULY APPRECIATE YOU!  Thank you for making it all possible!!

We are in GREAT need of counselors to attend Science Camp with our 6th graders June 5-9 this year!  Can you send an older brother or sister of one of our students?  PLEASE let us know ASAP!!  Please email Mrs. Laffey at LynnLa@fsusd.org

Our PTC Board is looking for volunteers for the 2017-2018 school year! Please email GVMSPTC@gmail.com if you are interested as we'd love to have you join!

Our Career Day is coming on May 31st and we'd LOVE to have you involved! Please email Mrs. Walker at RochelleW@fsusd.org or fill out this interest form!  Thank you!

Additionally, we are looking for interested people to come hang out with us during our lunches as noon duty supervisors!  If you are interested, please contact Ms. Lucero at ChristineL@fsusd.org to start the process!

Green Valley MS is again working with ACCEXS.org to find host families for this summer for our foreign exchange program!  If you are interested in hosting a 7th grade student from China, please check out THIS LINK for more exciting information!  This is a FABULOUS opportunity for your entire family!!

We are seeing A LOT of "spring fever" on campus and new "couples" walking around campus.  As a parent, having these conversations with your middle school student can be a tad uncomfortable and have you wondering if you should even be HAVING these conversations.  Click on THIS LINK to get some ideas on questions to ask, conversations to have, and ways to be there for your Viking!

*8th grade promotion is Thursday, June 8th at 10 AM.  Each 8th grade who is promoting will be receiving 4 tickets in mid-May and gates will open at 9 AM.  Balloons, signs, and anything else that can block the view of others will NOT be allowed in the gates.  We will check them at the door and your student can get them on their way out the door.  We appreciate your support on this!

Many of our teachers are getting even more creative and working to bring state of the art technology and hands on learning for our students!  Check out what they are doing AND see if you can support!  It's a great time to be a Viking!
